Inquiry into Pramāṇa, Divine Autonomy, and Grace
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages at Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Shakti Form: Gaurī
Role: teaching
Cosmic Event: ākāśavāṇī (bodiless oracle)
It highlights that by Śakti’s divine glory, a being can remain undefiled—implying that purity and protection arise from the Lord’s power and grace rather than mere personal effort.
The “bodiless voice” motif commonly signals Saguna Shiva’s/Śakti’s active guidance in the world—affirming that the Lord (Pati) can reveal instruction and protection to the devotee (paśu) through divine signs.
Cultivate śaraṇāgati (surrender) and japa with the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), trusting Śiva-Śakti’s grace to remove inner impurity; listen inwardly in meditation for dharmic guidance.
