Dans le monde, ceux qui agissent sans justesse sont blâmés comme dépourvus de discernement. Ce qui trouble et agite les hommes, cela est déclaré impropre.

Tattva Level: pashu
It teaches viveka (discernment): a seeker’s conduct must be yुक्त (proper, fitting to dharma). Actions that create agitation and harm bind the paśu (individual soul) more tightly in pāśa (bondage), obstructing Shiva-realization.
Linga-worship is not only ritual but also inner discipline. Approaching Saguna Shiva through the Linga requires purity, restraint, and non-harm; disruptive, improper behavior contradicts the very reverence the worshipper claims to offer.
Practice self-restraint alongside japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), keeping speech and actions calm and non-agitating; let worship be sāttvika—supported by ethical conduct rather than mere external display.
