षडध्ववेदनम् (Ṣaḍadhva-vedanam) — The Sixfold Path: Sound, Meaning, and Tattva-Distribution

स्त्रीपुंसभावेन तयोर्भेद इत्यपि केचन । अपरे तु परा शक्तिः शिवस्य समवायिनी

strīpuṃsabhāvena tayorbheda ityapi kecana | apare tu parā śaktiḥ śivasya samavāyinī

Certains disent qu’il y a entre eux une différence selon la nature féminine et masculine. D’autres déclarent qu’Elle est la Śakti suprême, inhérente à Śiva et inséparable de Lui.

It teaches that while people may speak of Śiva and Śakti as male and female, the higher view is their inseparable unity—Śakti is not separate from Śiva but His inherent Supreme Power, central to Shaiva Siddhanta’s understanding of Pati (the Lord) and His divine potency.
