Ici, même les récits de la création et du reste n’ont été rapportés qu’incidemment, uniquement pour faire rayonner la majesté du Seigneur. Il faut donc les comprendre dans ce contexte, avec les développements appropriés.

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Sthala Purana: Not a site-specific (sthāla) passage; the verse frames cosmology (sarga etc.) as subordinate to revealing Īśvara’s aiśvarya (sovereign majesty).
Significance: Establishes the hermeneutic that Purāṇic cosmology is ultimately upadeśa-oriented—meant to turn the mind toward Śiva as Pati rather than toward mere cosmographic detail.
Cosmic Event: Cosmic functions (sarga-ādi) referenced as didactic material rather than as the narrative focus.
It clarifies that cosmology (sarga and related topics) is not the final teaching; it is presented to reveal the supremacy of Pati—Lord Shiva—so the seeker’s focus remains on liberation through Shiva-knowledge and devotion.
By placing creation narratives in a subsidiary role, the verse directs attention to Shiva as the central reality—worshipped as Saguna (Linga, forms, grace) while pointing beyond to His transcendent sovereignty that underlies all cosmic processes.
Use the teachings as support for Shiva-centered sadhana: japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with contemplative remembrance that all cosmic descriptions ultimately serve devotion to and realization of Shiva.
