Bāṇa’s Renewed Engagement in Battle
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
Role: teaching
It highlights Pati (Shiva) as the supreme governor of outcomes: even a divine weapon becomes “mogha” by his ājñā, showing that grace and dharma—not mere power—determine the fruit of action.
In Saguna form, Shiva actively protects devotees and regulates cosmic order; Linga-worship internalizes this truth—seeking Shiva’s anugraha (grace) as the decisive force beyond external might.
A takeaway is surrender to Shiva’s will through japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and prayer for restraint and compassion—so one’s power is guided by dharma rather than vengeance.
