अन्धकादिदैत्ययुद्धे वीरकविजयः — Vīraka’s Victory over Andhaka’s Forces
निशम्य तद्गां स्वमतं स तस्मै चकार युद्धं स तु वीरकेण । मुहूर्तमाश्चर्यवदप्रमेयं संख्ये जितो वीरतरेण दैत्यः
niśamya tadgāṃ svamataṃ sa tasmai cakāra yuddhaṃ sa tu vīrakeṇa | muhūrtamāścaryavadaprameyaṃ saṃkhye jito vīratareṇa daityaḥ
Ayant entendu ces paroles et affermi sa propre résolution, il engagea le combat contre cet adversaire; et le vaillant Vīraka lutta. Un moment, la mêlée fut merveilleuse et sans mesure—jusqu’à ce que, dans la bataille, le daitya fût vaincu par un guerrier plus héroïque encore.
