शङ्खचूडकस्य राज्याभिषेकः तथा शक्रपुरीं प्रति प्रस्थानम् | Śaṅkhacūḍa’s Coronation and March toward Indra’s City
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Sthala Purana: Not a specific jyotirliṅga-sthala; the verse points to Śivaloka as the transcendent realm (para-vyoma) where Śambhu reigns as Parabrahman.
Significance: Contemplation of Śivaloka functions as a mokṣa-oriented upāsanā: orienting the paśu (soul) toward the pati (Śiva) beyond all lokas.
Type: stotra
It proclaims Śivaloka as the supreme, transcendent realm and identifies Śiva (Śambhu) as Parabrahman and Parameśvara—affirming that liberation culminates in the Lord’s highest sovereignty beyond all limited worlds.
By calling Śiva both Parabrahman (ultimate reality) and Parameśvara (personal Lord), the verse supports the Shaiva view that Saguna worship—such as Linga-upāsanā—leads the devotee toward realization of the same supreme, transcendent Śiva.
Meditate on Śambhu as the supreme ruler of Śivaloka while repeating the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating bhakti and inner detachment that orient the mind toward the highest abode.
