श्रुत्याचारप्रसन्नाय स्तुत्याचारप्रियाय च । चतुर्विधस्वरूपाय जलस्थलजरूपिणे
śrutyācāraprasannāya stutyācārapriyāya ca | caturvidhasvarūpāya jalasthalajarūpiṇe
Hommage à Celui qui se réjouit d’une conduite accordée aux Veda et qui chérit la discipline des hymnes et de la louange; à Celui qui se manifeste en quatre modes, prenant les formes des êtres nés de l’eau, de la terre, et de l’eau et de la terre tout ensemble.

While the Linga points to Shiva’s transcendent reality, this verse emphasizes Saguna Shiva—His gracious presence within manifest creation—so worship combines reverence for the formless principle with devotion to the Lord who appears in countless forms.
Maintain śruti-aligned conduct (purity, truthfulness, restraint) and regularly perform stuti—reciting Shiva stotras or the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya)—as a disciplined devotional practice.
