कैलासगमनं कुबेरसख्यं च — Śiva’s Journey to Kailāsa and His Friendship with Kubera
प्रेरितोऽपि जनन्या स न ययौ पितुरंतिकम् । गृहकार्यांतरव्याप्तो दीक्षितो दीक्षितायिनीम्
prerito'pi jananyā sa na yayau pituraṃtikam | gṛhakāryāṃtaravyāpto dīkṣito dīkṣitāyinīm
Bien que sa mère l’y poussât, il n’alla pas auprès de son père. Absorbé par d’autres tâches domestiques, l’initié se mit au service de la femme qui accomplissait le rite d’initiation (dīkṣā).
