Par la grâce de Vyāsa, tu es devenu omniscient et tu as atteint l’état de celui dont le but est accompli. Pour toi, rien ne demeure inconnu : le passé, l’avenir et le présent.
The sages of Naimiṣāraṇya (ṛṣis) addressing Sūta Gosvāmin
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Role: teaching
It highlights the Shaiva principle that true spiritual authority arises through guru-grace and lineage (Vyāsa-paramparā), making the teacher fit to transmit Shiva-tattva without confusion about past, present, and future teachings.
Before explaining Linga-worship and Saguna Shiva’s sacred narratives, the text establishes the narrator’s reliability through Vyāsa’s blessing—so the rituals and meanings of Shiva’s forms are received as authentic śāstra, not mere opinion.
Cultivate guru-bhakti and śravaṇa (reverent listening) in a lineage spirit—approaching Shiva-kathā with humility, as one would approach Panchākṣarī-japa or Linga-pūjā under guidance.
