कामभस्म-प्रार्थना: रत्याः शङ्करं प्रति विनयः / Rati’s Supplication to Śaṅkara regarding Kāma’s Ashes
देव्य ऊचुः । भक्तवत्सलनामा त्वं दीनबन्धुर्दयानिधिः । काम जीवय सोत्साहां रति कुरु नमोऽस्तु ते
devya ūcuḥ | bhaktavatsalanāmā tvaṃ dīnabandhurdayānidhiḥ | kāma jīvaya sotsāhāṃ rati kuru namo'stu te
Les Déesses dirent : « Tu es renommé comme l’Ami des dévots, le soutien des affligés et un océan de compassion. Rends la vie à Kāma et accorde à Rati sa joie et un espoir renouvelé. Hommage à Toi ! »
