पार्वत्याः तपः-परीक्षा (Śiva Tests Pārvatī’s Austerity)
ब्रह्मोवाच । गतेषु तेषु मुनिषु स्वं लोकं शंकरः स्वयम् । परीक्षितुं तपो देव्या ऐच्छत्सूतिकरः प्रभुः
brahmovāca | gateṣu teṣu muniṣu svaṃ lokaṃ śaṃkaraḥ svayam | parīkṣituṃ tapo devyā aicchatsūtikaraḥ prabhuḥ
Brahmā dit : Lorsque ces sages furent partis vers leurs propres mondes, le Seigneur Śaṅkara lui-même—le Souverain qui fait naître des fruits auspices—désira éprouver les austérités de la Déesse.
