Himagiri Presents Kālī (Pārvatī) to Śiva
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It teaches that Shiva (Pati) transcends all limiting concepts; even the Vedas can only point to Him with reverent wonder, so the devotee approaches Him through humility, devotion, and direct realization rather than mere debate.
Though Shiva is ultimately beyond description (nirguṇa in the sense of beyond limiting attributes), the Linga and other saguna forms serve as compassionate, accessible supports for devotion—symbols through which the indescribable Reality is worshipped.
Contemplative japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with a sense of sacred awe, accompanied by simple Linga worship (water/abhisheka) or Tripuṇḍra-bhasma devotion, aligns practice with this teaching.
