Description of Kumāra’s Wondrous Deeds
tvayi nāthe sati vibho yajñabhaṃgaḥ kathaṃ bhavet | vicāryyaivā'khileśāna kāma pūrṇaṃ kuruṣva me
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
The verse emphasizes śaraṇāgati (taking refuge): when the devotee recognizes Śiva as the all-protecting Lord, fear of external obstacles dissolves and one seeks His considered, grace-filled fulfilment of dharmic desire.
It reflects Saguna-bhakti—addressing Śiva as Vibhu and Īśāna who actively safeguards sacred rites; Linga-worship similarly treats Śiva as the present Lord who receives worship and bestows anugraha.
A practical takeaway is to begin yajña or pūjā with refuge in Śiva—mentally repeating the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and praying for nirvighnatā (removal of obstacles) through His protection.
