Sanatkumara
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: liberating
It teaches that karmic destiny may determine one’s birth, yet Shiva’s liberating peace (nirvṛti) can be attained in the very condition one is born into—through right understanding, devotion, and grace.
By emphasizing liberation “here and now,” the verse supports Saguna Shiva worship (including Linga devotion) as a practical means for purification of karma and the dawning of inner peace regardless of one’s worldly circumstances.
A Shaiva takeaway is steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with disciplined purity (bhasma/tripuṇḍra and Rudrākṣa where appropriate), directing the mind toward Shiva so that karmic bondage loosens into nirvṛti.
