La jeune amie s’y rendit et comprit toute la situation. Puis, après n’avoir regardé qu’un bref instant, elle alla, joyeuse, en la présence de Śiva.

It highlights the immediacy of transformation through Shiva-oriented awareness: once the truth of the situation is understood, the heart naturally turns with joy toward Shiva, indicating bhakti as a direct movement toward the Pati (Lord) who grants auspiciousness.
The verse emphasizes approaching Shiva’s ‘antika’ (presence), reflecting Saguna devotion—seeking nearness, darshana, and refuge in Shiva. In Shiva Purana practice, this same approach is expressed through Linga-upasana: going to the Linga with a clarified mind and offering worship as a tangible entry into Shiva’s grace.
A practical takeaway is swift recollection and turning to Shiva—mentally repeating the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and moving toward Shiva’s presence (temple/Linga or inner contemplation) with a focused, joyful mind.
