Methodical Explanation of the Meaning of Praṇava/Om
पञ्चगव्यादिभिर्द्रव्यैर्यथाविभवसम्भृतैः । केवलैर्वा जलैश्शुद्धैस्सुरभि द्रव्यवासितैः
pañcagavyādibhirdravyairyathāvibhavasambhṛtaiḥ | kevalairvā jalaiśśuddhaissurabhi dravyavāsitaiḥ
Selon ses moyens, qu’on accomplisse (le rite de purification) avec des substances telles que le pañcagavya —les cinq produits de la vache— et d’autres matières convenables ; ou bien, avec de l’eau pure seulement, rendue parfumée par des aromates auspicieux.
