वृषा मतीनां पवते विचक्षणः सोमो अह्नः प्रतरीतोषसो दिवः । क्राणा सिन्धूनां कलशाँ अवीवशदिन्द्रस्य हार्द्याविशन्मनीषिभिः ॥

Transliteration

vṛ́ṣā matīnā́ṃ pavate vi-cakṣaṇáḥ sómo áhnaḥ pratarītóṣáso diváḥ | krāṇā síndhūnāṃ kalaśā́n avīvaśad índrasya hā́rdy ā́viśan manīṣíbhiḥ ||

Translation

Tel un taureau puissant des inspirations, Soma, au vaste regard, se purifie, traversant le jour, les aurores, le ciel. Rassemblant les rivières, il les pousse dans les coupes ; entrant dans le cœur d’Indra, il vient avec les compréhensions illuminées des ṛṣi.
