ज्योतिर्यज्ञस्य पवते मधु प्रियं पिता देवानां जनिता विभूवसुः । दधाति रत्नं स्वधयोरपीच्यं मदिन्तमो मत्सर इन्द्रियो रसः ॥

jyótir yajñásya pavate mádhu priyáṃ pitā́ devā́nāṃ janitā́ vibhū́vasuḥ | dádhāti rátnaṃ svadháyor apī́cyaṃ madíntamo matsará indríyo rásaḥ ||

La lumière du sacrifice s’écoule — miel suave, le Bien-aimé; père des dieux, leur géniteur, riche d’un vaste éclat. Il dépose le joyau précieux, caché dans les deux svadhās; le plus enivrant, l’extatique, fortifiant Indra — tel est le suc, rasa.
