अयं दिव इयर्ति विश्वमा रजः सोमः पुनानः कलशेषु सीदति । अद्भिर्गोभिर्मृज्यते अद्रिभिः सुतः पुनान इन्दुर्वरिवो विदत्प्रियम् ॥

ayáṃ divá iyarti víśvam ā́ rájaḥ sómaḥ punānáḥ kalaśéṣu sīdati | adbhír góbhiḥ mṛ́jyate ádribhiḥ sutáḥ punāná índur várivo vidat priyám ||

Ce Soma venu du ciel met en mouvement tous les espaces ; se purifiant lui-même, il prend place dans les coupes. Par les eaux et par les rayons il est nettoyé ; pressé par les pierres, l’Indu qui se purifie trouve le vaste espace et ce qui est cher — la joie consentante de l’âme.
