आ यद्वज्रं बाह्वोरिन्द्र धत्से मदच्युतमहये हन्तवा उ । प्र पर्वता अनवन्त प्र गावः प्र ब्रह्माणो अभिनक्षन्त इन्द्रम् ॥
ā́ yád vájraṃ bāhvór indra dhátse madá-cyutam áhaye hántavā́ u | prá párvatā án-avanta prá gā́vaḥ prá bráhmāṇo abhi-nákṣanta índram ||
Quand tu places le Váǰra dans tes bras, ô Indra, inébranlable dans l’ivresse de la force, pour abattre le Serpent, alors les montagnes cèdent; alors les vaches—les rayons—s’élancent en avant, et les bráhman, les hymnes sacrés des ṛṣi, vont à la rencontre d’Indra.
