शवसा ह्यसि श्रुतो वृत्रहत्येन वृत्रहा । मघैर्मघोनो अति शूर दाशसि ॥

Transliteration

śávasā hí ási śrutó vṛtrahátyena vṛtrahā́ | magháir maghóno áti śūra dāśasi ||

Translation

Car par la force tu es renommé ; par le meurtre de Vṛtra tu es Vṛtrahan, le « tueur de Vṛtra ». Ô Héros, par tes largesses tu surpasses les généreux ; tu distribues les abondances au-delà de toute mesure.
