वि चेदुच्छन्त्यश्विना उषासः प्र वां ब्रह्माणि कारवो भरन्ते । ऊर्ध्वं भानुं सविता देवो अश्रेद्बृहदग्नयः समिधा जरन्ते ॥

Transliteration

ví ced ucchánty aśvinā uṣā́saḥ prá vāṃ bráhmāṇi kā́ravo bharante | ūrdhvám bhā́nuṃ savitā́ devó aśred bṛhád agnáyaḥ samídhā jarante ||

Translation

Quand les Uṣās resplendissent, ô Aśvins, les chantres vous apportent les paroles sacrées, le brahman. Savitṛ a dressé bien haut le rayon de lumière, et les grands feux, nourris de samidhā (bois d’allumage), flambent vers le haut.
