मा नो अग्ने दुर्भृतये सचैषु देवेद्धेष्वग्निषु प्र वोचः । मा ते अस्मान्दुर्मतयो भृमाच्चिद्देवस्य सूनो सहसो नशन्त ॥
Transliteration
mā no agne durbhṛtáye sácaiṣú devéddheṣv agníṣu prá vocaḥ | mā te asmā́n durmátayo bhṛmā́c cid devásya sūno sahaso náśanta ||
Translation
Ô Agni, ne nous attache pas à une mauvaise tenue du rite ; parmi ces feux allumés pour les dieux, ne nous proclame pas fautifs. Que de mauvaises pensées ne nous détruisent pas, fût-ce par une erreur vagabonde — ô Fils du Dieu, ô Fils de la Force (Sahas).
