Sukta 6.68
ता गृणीहि नमस्येभिः शूषैः सुम्नेभिरिन्द्रावरुणा चकाना । वज्रेणान्यः शवसा हन्ति वृत्रं सिषक्त्यन्यो वृजनेषु विप्रः ॥
tā́ gṛṇīhi namasyébhíḥ śūṣáiḥ sumnébhír indrā́varuṇā cakānā́ | vájreṇā́nyaḥ śávasā hánti vṛtráṃ síṣakty anyó vṛjánéṣu vípraḥ ||
Chantez ces deux-là, Indra et Varuṇa, par des hommages, par des forces, par des largesses heureuses, se réjouissant de l’offrande. L’un abat Vṛtra par le Vajra, par la seule puissance ; l’autre, le voyant, établit et lie les œuvres justes dans les champs de l’action.
