Sukta 6.61
इयं शुष्मेभिर्बिसखा इवारुजत्सानु गिरीणां तविषेभिरूर्मिभिः । पारावतघ्नीमवसे सुवृक्तिभिः सरस्वतीमा विवासेम धीतिभिः ॥
iyaṃ śuṣmebhir bisakhāḥ-ivārujat sānu girīṇāṃ taviṣebhir ūrmi-bhiḥ | pārāvata-ghnīm avase suvṛkti-bhiḥ sarasvatīm ā vivāsema dhīti-bhiḥ ||
Elle, par ses forces, a percé comme celle qui arrache des tiges de lotus ; par ses vagues impétueuses elle a fendu les crêtes des montagnes. Celle qui abat le « lointain » — la ténèbre qui éloigne — pour notre secours : par de belles paroles et par des pensées inspirées (dhī), nous voulons attirer Sarasvatī tout près et la faire demeurer parmi nous.
