वित्वक्षणः समृतौ चक्रमासजोऽसुन्वतो विषुणः सुन्वतो वृधः । इन्द्रो विश्वस्य दमिता विभीषणो यथावशं नयति दासमार्यः ॥

Transliteration

vi-tvákṣaṇaḥ sámṛtau cakrám āsajó 'sūnvató víṣuṇaḥ sunvató vṛdháḥ | índro víśvasya damitā́ vi-bhī́ṣaṇo yathāvaśáṃ nayati dā́sām ā́ryaḥ ||

Translation

Par un art pénétrant il mit la roue en mouvement dans la conjonction des saisons; séparé des non-pressants (asunvat), accroissement des pressants (sunvat) — tel est Indra. Indra, dompteur de tout, terrible dans sa puissance, mène à son gré le Dāsa, la nature sombre et servile; et l’Ārya, la force noble du labeur, avance.
