प्रत्यग्निरुषसश्चेकितानोऽबोधि विप्रः पदवीः कवीनाम् । पृथुपाजा देवयद्भिः समिद्धोऽप द्वारा तमसो वह्निरावः ॥

Transliteration

práty agnír uṣásaś cekitānáḥ ábodhi vípraḥ padavī́ḥ kavīnā́m | pṛthupā́jā devayád-bhiḥ samiddhó’pa dvā́rā támaso váhnir ā́vaḥ ||

Translation

Agni, tourné vers Uṣas et s’éveillant à la conscience, s’est levé — l’inspiré, qui fraye la voie des voyants. Large de puissance, attisé par ceux qui cherchent le Divin, le porteur a ouvert les portes des ténèbres.
