Sukta 3.30
उद्वृह रक्षः सहमूलमिन्द्र वृश्चा मध्यं प्रत्यग्रं शृणीहि । आ कीवतः सललूकं चकर्थ ब्रह्मद्विषे तपुषिं हेतिमस्य ॥
úd vṛha rákṣaḥ sahá-mūlam indra vṛścā́ mádhyaṃ práty agraṃ śṛṇīhi | ā́ kī́vataḥ salalū́kaṃ cakartha brahmadvíṣa tápuṣiṃ hetím asyá ||
Arrache, ô Indra, le Rakṣas avec sa racine même ; tranche son milieu, retranche son avant. Tu as mis fin à l’avare et au tortueux ; contre le haineux de la Parole sacrée tu as forgé une arme brûlante — un tranchant de tapas, pour sa ruine.
