अग्ने वृधान आहुतिं पुरोळाशं जातवेदः । जुषस्व तिरोअह्न्यम् ॥

ágné vṛdhāná āhútiṃ puroḷā́śaṃ jātavedāḥ | juṣásva tiró-ahnyam ||

Ô Agni, croissant en puissance, ô Jātavedas, reçois l’oblation offerte, le gâteau sacrificiel (puroḍāśa) — l’offrande qui nous mène au-delà du jour ordinaire.
