अवर्धयन्त्सुभगं सप्त यह्वीः श्वेतं जज्ञानमरुषं महित्वा । शिशुं न जातमभ्यारुरश्वा देवासो अग्निं जनिमन्वपुष्यन् ॥
Transliteration
ávaṛdhayants subhágaṃ saptá yahvī́ḥ śvetáṃ jajñānám aruṣáṃ mahitvā́ | śíśuṃ na jātám abhy ā́rur aśvā́ devā́so agním jániman vapuṣyan ||
Translation
Les sept puissants courants accrurent le Fortuné — blanc à la naissance, roux dans sa grandeur. Comme des chevaux se ruent vers l’enfant nouveau-né, ainsi les dieux se hâtèrent vers Agni; ils nourrirent son devenir et firent croître sa forme lumineuse.
