Sukta 2.30
तं वः शर्धं मारुतं सुम्नयुर्गिरोप ब्रुवे नमसा दैव्यं जनम् । यथा रयिं सर्ववीरं नशामहा अपत्यसाचं श्रुत्यं दिवेदिवे ॥
táṃ vaḥ śárdhaṃ mārútaṃ sumná-yur gíropá bruve námasā daívyaṃ jánam | yáthā rayíṃ sárva-vīraṃ náśāmahai apatyá-sācaṃ śrútyaṃ divé-divé ||
Cette troupe de Maruts qui est la vôtre — le peuple divin — je l’invoque par la parole, en quête de leur faveur, avec hommage : afin que nous atteignions la plénitude, riche de toutes les puissances héroïques, porteuse de descendance de l’âme, digne d’être entendue, jour après jour.
