Sukta 2.27
माहं मघोनो वरुण प्रियस्य भूरिदाव्न आ विदं शूनमापेः । मा रायो राजन्त्सुयमादव स्थां बृहद्वदेम विदथे सुवीराः ॥
mā́haṃ maghóno varuṇa priyásya bhūrídā́vna ā́ vidam śū́nam āpéḥ | mā́ rāyó rājan suyámād áva sthāṃ bṛhád vadema vidáthe suvī́rāḥ ||
Ô Varuṇa, puissé-je ne pas déchoir de la grâce aimée du Donateur généreux ; puissé-je gagner la vaste félicité qui vient des Eaux (Āpaḥ). Ô Roi, que la plénitude de la richesse ne glisse pas loin de la bonne conduite de ta Loi. Puissions-nous dire le Vaste (Bṛhat) dans l’assemblée, nous aux bons héros.
