स सूर्यः पर्युरू वरांस्येन्द्रो ववृत्याद्रथ्येव चक्रा । अतिष्ठन्तमपस्यं न सर्गं कृष्णा तमांसि त्विष्या जघान ॥

Transliteration

sá sū́ryaḥ pár yurū́ várāṁsy índro vavṛtyād rathyèva cakrā́ | átiṣṭhantam apásyaṁ ná sárgaṁ kr̥ṣṇā́ támāṁsi tvíṣyā jaghāna ||

Translation

Il est le Soleil ; Indra mit en mouvement les vastes espaces comme les roues d’une voie de char. Il vit le flot obstrué, demeuré immobile, et, par son ardeur flamboyante, il abattit les noires ténèbres.
