Sukta 10.46
प्र जिह्वया भरते वेपो अग्निः प्र वयुनानि चेतसा पृथिव्याः । तमायवः शुचयन्तं पावकं मन्द्रं होतारं दधिरे यजिष्ठम् ॥
prá jihváyā bharate vépo agníḥ prá vayúnāni cétasā pṛthivyā́ḥ | tám ā́yavaḥ śucáyantaṁ pāvakáṁ mandráṁ hótāraṁ dadhire yájiṣṭham ||
Par sa langue, Agni porte en avant le frémissement de la parole ; par la pensée, il fait surgir les discernements de la nature terrestre. Lui, les chercheurs l’ont établi — purifiant, lumineux —, le Hotar inspiré, le plus apte au sacrifice.
