Transliteration

divás pṛthivyór áva ā́ vṛṇīmahe mātṝ́n sindhū́n párvatāñ char-yaṇā́vataḥ | anāgā́s tváṁ sū́ryam uṣā́sām īmahe bhadráṁ sómaḥ suvānáḥ adyā́ kṛṇotu naḥ ||

Translation

Du Ciel et de la Terre nous choisissons pour nous la protection salvatrice; nous appelons aussi les Mères nourricières — les Fleuves et les Montagnes fermes, riches de mouvement et de vigueur. Ô l’Irréprochable, nous invoquons le Soleil et Uṣas au-dedans de nous; que Soma, pressé aujourd’hui, nous fasse le Bien — une part propice.
