Sukta 10.34
न मा मिमेथ न जिहीळ एषा शिवा सखिभ्य उत मह्यमासीत् । अक्षस्याहमेकपरस्य हेतोरनुव्रतामप जायामरोधम् ॥
ná mā mimetha ná jihīḷa eṣā́ śivā́ sakhíbhyá utá máhyam āsīt | akṣasyā́hám éka-parasya hétor ánu-vratām ápa jāyā́m arodham ||
Elle ne m’a point épargné, elle ne s’est point retenue—elle qui fut jadis bienfaisante pour mes amis et même pour moi. À cause du dé, cet unique maître, j’ai repoussé mon épouse fidèle, qui suivait le vœu, obéissante à la loi droite.
