Sukta 1.83
अश्वावति प्रथमो गोषु गच्छति सुप्रावीरिन्द्र मर्त्यस्तवोतिभिः । तमित्पृणक्षि वसुना भवीयसा सिन्धुमापो यथाभितो विचेतसः ॥
áśvāvatī prathamó góṣu gacchati suprā́vīr índra mártyas tavóti-bhiḥ | tám ít pṛṇakṣi vásunā bhávīyasā síndhum ā́po yáthābhíto ví-cetasaḥ ||
Celui qui est riche en chevaux marche le premier parmi les vaches des rayons, ô Indra, — le mortel affermi par tes secours. Toi, tu le combles d’une abondance plus grande, comme les eaux, se mouvant avec discernement, emplissent le fleuve de toutes parts.
