Transliteration
jāmíḥ síndhūnām bhrā́teva svásrām | ibhyā́n ná rājā́ vánāny atti ||
Translation
Parent des fleuves, tel un frère pour sa sœur, il circule parmi les puissants. Tel un roi, il s’approprie les forêts — Agni, le maître, qui revendique les pousses de la Terre pour l’œuvre.
