या नः पीपरदश्विना ज्योतिष्मती तमस्तिरः । तामस्मे रासाथामिषम् ॥

yā́ naḥ pī́parad aśvinā jyótiṣmatī támas tiraḥ | tā́m asmē rāsā́thām íṣam ||

Ce qui nous fait avancer, ô Aśvins,— lumineux, franchissant les ténèbres,— accordez-nous ici cette puissance nourricière (iṣá), afin que nous passions de l’obscurité à la claire lumière de la juste vision.
