Sukta 1.32
अयोद्धेव दुर्मद आ हि जुह्वे महावीरं तुविबाधमृजीषम् । नातारीदस्य समृतिं वधानां सं रुजानाः पिपिष इन्द्रशत्रुः ॥
ayoddhā́iva durmáda ā́ hí juhve mahāvī́raṃ tuvibā́dham ṛjī́ṣam | nā́tārīd asya samṛ́tiṃ vadhā́nāṃ sáṃ rujā́nāḥ pipiṣe índraśatruḥ ||
Tel un combattant dans l’orgueil de l’ivresse, il provoqua — oui, il provoqua le grand héros, le puissant frappeur, la force qui va droit. Il ne put franchir l’assaut de ces coups; brisé, l’ennemi d’Indra fut réduit en poudre.
