अयुज्रन्त इन्द्र विश्वकृष्टीर्विदानासो निष्षिधो मर्त्यत्रा । मरुतां पृत्सुतिर्हासमाना स्वर्मीळ्हस्य प्रधनस्य सातौ ॥
áyujranta indra viśvákṛṣṭīr vidānā́so niṣṣídho martyatrā́ | marútāṃ pṛtsutír hāsamānā́ svàrmīḷhasya prádhanasya sātáu ||
Tu as attelé, ô Indra, tous les peuples, de toute sorte — les connaisseurs — afin que, sur le champ des mortels, ils ne soient pas refoulés. L’élan guerrier des Maruts, riant dans sa force, est pour la victoire dans le choc, pour le gain de la plénitude lumineuse (svar), difficile à conquérir.
