इन्द्रजित्–लक्ष्मणयोर् घोरः शरयुद्धः
Indrajit and Lakshmana’s Fierce Exchange of Arrows
बभूवतुश्चात्मजयेयत्तौभीमपराक्रमौ ।तौशरौघैस्तदाकीर्णौनिकृत्तकवचध्वजौ ।।6.89.25।।सृजन्तौरुधिरंचोष्णंजलंप्रस्रवणाविव ।
babhūvatuś cātmajaye yattau bhīmaparākramau | tau śaraughais tadā kīrṇau nikṛttakavacadhvajau ||6.89.25|| sṛjantau rudhiraṃ coṣṇaṃ jalaṃ prasravaṇāv iva |
Tous deux, d'une prouesse redoutable et résolus à vaincre, continuèrent ; couverts de torrents de flèches, leurs armures et étendards abattus, ils versaient un sang chaud tels des ruisseaux jaillissant des sources de montagne.
Both of them of terrible valour, each of them wanting to win, moving together their armour and standards torn, started emitting hot blood from their body like waterfalls gushing out.
