समुद्रतट-प्रयाणम् तथा वेलावन-निवेशः
March to the Seacoast and Encampment at the Shore
ऊरुवेगैश्च ममृदुर्लताजालान्यनेकशः ।जृम्भमाणाश्च विक्रान्ता विचिक्रीडुश्शिलाद्रुमै ः ।।।।
ūruvegaiś ca mamṛdur latājālāny anekaśaḥ |
jṛmbhamāṇāś ca vikrāntā vicikrīḍuḥ śilādrumaiḥ ||
Par l’élan et la vitesse de leurs cuisses, ils déchirèrent maints enchevêtrements de lianes ; et, même en bâillant, les vaillants s’amusaient à faire tournoyer pierres et arbres.
With the speed of their shaking thighs, the vanaras broke several meshes of creepers. While yawning also some showed their courage by whirling round and throwing stones and trees.
Dharma is supported by endurance and readiness: even fatigue (yawning) does not halt duty; energy is maintained for the righteous objective.
The host advances through rough terrain, tearing through creepers and handling rocks and trees as part of their vigorous movement.
Vikrama (bold prowess) coupled with stamina.
