Aditya Hridayam Upadeśa — Agastya’s Instruction to Rāma
एषसुप्तेषुजागर्तिभूतेषुपरिनिष्ठितः ।एषचैवाग्निहोत्रं च फलंचैवाग्निहोत्रिणाम् ।।6.107.23।।
eṣa supteṣu jāgarti bhūteṣu pariniṣṭhitaḥ |
eṣa caivāgnihotraṃ ca phalaṃ caivāgnihotriṇām ||6.107.23||
Il veille parmi ceux qui dorment, établi au cœur de tous les êtres. Il est lui-même le rite de l’Agnihotra, et il est lui-même le fruit obtenu par ceux qui accomplissent l’Agnihotra.
"He alone pervades the created beings and remains awake in sleep. He alone is the fire sacrifice as well as the fruits obtained from fire sacrifice.
Dharma unites outer practice and inner reality: ritual is meaningful when seen as participation in a pervasive moral-cosmic presence.
The hymn explains Sūrya as immanent in all beings and as the essence behind Vedic rites and their results.
Reverence with understanding—faith informed by insight rather than mere formality.
