Indra’s Chariot Offered to Rāma; The Duel Intensifies
Those shafts with wide flaming mouths, vomiting fire, glowing, frightening, and striking went over to Rama.
The verse underscores steadfastness in dharma: righteousness is maintained not by absence of danger, but by unwavering conduct amid terror.
The serpent-like projectiles intensify, appearing as fire-spewing, frightful forms as they close in on Rama.
Rama’s courage (śaurya) and inner stability under extreme threat.
