Indra’s Chariot Offered to Rāma; The Duel Intensifies
इदमैन्द्रंमहच्चापंकवचंचानगिसन्निभम् ।शराश्चादित्यसङ्काशाःशक्तिश्चविमलाशिवा ।।।।
idam aindraṃ mahac cāpaṃ kavacaṃ cānagisannibham |
śarāś cādityasaṅkāśāḥ śaktiś ca vimalā śivā ||
«Voici le grand arc d’Indra et une cuirasse qui brille comme le feu ; des flèches éclatantes comme le soleil ; et aussi une javeline pure, de bon augure.»
"Here is Indra's mighty bow, armour shining like fire, shafts resembling the Sun and stainless auspicious javelin."
