Transliteration

kanyayā ca pitur gehe vanavāsaḥ śruto mayā | bhikṣiṇyā sādhuvṛttāyā mama mātur ihāgrataḥ || 2.29.13 ||

Translation

Alors que j’étais encore jeune fille dans la demeure de mon père, j’entendis parler de ce séjour en forêt : une mendiante vertueuse l’évoqua en présence de ma mère.
