Ce roi juste—ton père, vénéré du monde—fait autorité comme mesure; c’est pourquoi tu dois accepter et jouir de la part que ton père t’a donnée.
The proclamation of that righteous king revered by the world shall be your guide. Youshould enjoy that portion bestowed by father.
Dharma recognizes a righteous elder’s settled decision as pramāṇa (normative authority), and urges acceptance of one’s rightful share without disorder.
Rama urges Bharata to follow Daśaratha’s ordinance and take up the kingship assigned to him.
Anāsakti with orderliness—Rama discourages conflict over power and promotes lawful succession.
