Sandhi Resolution Notes:
Vasiṣṭha is speaking, addressing a group of sages (munis) and inviting them to come and see a child described as radiant and beautiful.
In Sanskrit poetry, the full moon is a standard image for serene radiance, auspicious beauty, and cooling brilliance; the comparison marks the child as exceptionally attractive and blessed.
It conveys reverent attention to an auspicious presence: the sages are summoned to witness and honor the child, suggesting respect for sanctity and recognition of virtue or divine favor.
